Abstract


This conversation with Amitav Ghosh covers his intellectual positions, his stance on issues such as modernism, postmodernism and postcolonialism, and his reaction to the ravages of the pandemic. My questions were prompted by his writings. Amitav answered my questions very patiently and eloquently stretching his memory to the time when he began his career as a writer. The conversation took place on 20th April, 2021 via Google Meet.
