My research interests are postcolonial and world literature, South Asian women’s writing, postcolonial theory, migration narrative and the politics and poetics of ethnography. I am the author of Postcolonial Custodianship: Cultural and Literary Inheritance (Routledge, 2014) and have publications in Interventions, ARIEL, Wasafiri, the Journal of Postcolonial Writing and openDemocracy.
